Everyone 6th Grade and above is encouraged to engage in the life of Redemption Hill. That means joining us on Sunday for worship and getting plugged into a Community Group. If the student's parents are part of Redemption Hill, they are encouraged to be in community as a family. Recognizing this unique life-stage and opportunity for teens, we also have opportunities just for our students.
Youth Group
Youth Group will meet on Sunday nights beginning on September 8.
We will have pizza at 6:30 PM and then the Youth Group will run from 7-8 PM. There will be 20 minutes of fun games, 20 minutes of teaching from the Bible, and 20 minutes of discussion and prayer in small groups broken out as girls and boys.
This is a fun, safe environment for our students and their friends to talk about the issues they face in their lives and hear about Jesus, and how the gospel speaks into real life here and now. We have a great group of people who have jumped in on the RHC Youth Team, ready to invest themselves into the lives of our students.
Mentoring
An integral part of Redemption Hill’s care for our students who are in Middle School and High School is establishing a mentoring relationship with a member of the church who will connect with them, have fun, and point them to Jesus. We want to foster individual connections between mentors and students through this program, in addition to monthly social events where they can connect with other students their age, other fun adults who also love Jesus, and invite friends to come learn about Jesus.
Bible Instruction Class (BIC)
Bible Instruction Class (BIC) runs the length of the school year and includes a survey of the Bible, a survey of theology, and a little church history sprinkled in along the way.
The class is available to students in 6th-12th grade and will cost $25/student. They will meet two Sundays each month (on the same days as Youth Group) at the Redemption Hill Fellowship Hall.
