Lent is a season that Christians use as an opportunity for sober reflection on what Jesus went through in the weeks leading up to His Passion. The following 7-weeks leading up to Easter will serve as a time of reflection for Redemption Hill. On Sundays, you can pickup a physical copy of our 2025 Lent Devotional and Recipe book or you can view it below. Each week we will have a written devotional and video testimony by a member of our church family and a recipe submitted by one of our Community Groups.
Like many spiritual disciplines, this season of reflection should be done in community. We encourage you to spend time in your Community Group sharing your reflections from this devotional, praying, and encouraging one another.
Because our church has a strong Theology of Food, a recipe accompanies each week’s devotional. It’s easier to see someone as your brother or sister when you share a meal with them. While it would be difficult to gather together as one church family each of the 7-weeks, it is our hope that Community Groups will participate by making the recipe each week so we are sharing one meal at scattered tables throughout our city.
